If you are looking
for a barcode for your CD or DVD, we can help. All you need to
do is order a standard EAN-13 barcode number (below). These barcode
numbers are suitable for use on CDs and DVDs both in retail stores
and in internet stores such as Amazon.
"How do I get a barcode for my CD or DVD?" Order a barcode from us below & then we will send you your barcode number & images. You can begin using your barcode straight away (just insert the image into the artwork for your CD/DVD cover or print it onto labels).
There is no need to register your barcode anywhere. No product information is encoded onto your barcode (it is just a unique number). When a retailer first receives your CD or DVD, they enter the barcode number into their system along with the product details, price, reordering info etc. After this, when they scan your barcode, your product information appears on their screen.

What size does my barcode need to be?" We will email your barcode images in the standard size (37mm x 25mm). If you want your images in a different size, email us to let us know (or resize the images yourself). Officially your barcode can be reduced to 80% of standard size (ie. to 20mm x 30mm) when placing it on your CD or DVD cover. In practice, many people often reduce the height of their barcode even more than this.
