Should I buy a Barcode Package?
Most of our customers order a "Barcode Package" from the Shop page of our website. A barcode package will give you a unique barcode number, a guarantee certificate, & barcode images (these will be emailed to you).
The barcode images are the actual barcode picture (ie. the vertical black bars & spaces with a number underneath).
We email the barcode images in several different formats (.eps, .bmp, .pdf, .jpg & .tiff) (have a look at our sample images). You can then choose the format that works best for you, and insert the barcode picture into the artwork for your packaging.
If your packaging has already been printed, you can print the barcode picture onto sticky labels instead (or purchase barcode labels from us).
If you buy a barcode from us, It is a one-off purchase & there are no future fees.
Can I get a Barcode Number without Images?
Yes, you can. There is the option of purchasing just one "EAN-13 barcode number (without images)" on the Shop page of our website.
If you are selling on Amazon, a barcode number is all you need.
If you later find out that you need the barcode images as well you can easily come back to us to order the images.
Can I get Barcode Images for a Barcode Number I already have?

How do I get Barcode Labels?
A roll of sticky labels can be purchased from our Barcode Labels page. You can either purchase labels + a barcode number, or else you can purchase labels by themselves (if you already have a barcode number).

How can I get my Barcode Verified?
You can find out about barcode verification reports & how to order one by reading our Verification page.
Some retailers require verification reports to be done on the barcode of new products entering their stores. A verification report is simple a test scan of how readable your barcode is.
If you need barcode verification, you will need to post your barcode - as printed on the final packaging or label - to us to be verified.
We use an independent company to verify the barcodes (we don't do this ourselves). Reports usually take 2-6 days after we receive your packaging or label. We will email the report to you when it is completed. Your barcode will is given a grade (a pass grade is A, B, C or D).
How do I register my Barcode?
Barcode registration is optional - after you receive your barcode (by email), you can attach it to your product & begin using it immediately. You do not have to register it first.
When your retailer first receives your product they will enter the barcode number & product details into their inventory system. After that, when your barcode is scanned the product details will appear on the retailer's computer screen.
Although barcode registration is not compulsory, we do offer an optional registration service. If you purchase barcode registration from us, we will register your barcode numbers and product details on the major barcode/product databases on the internet. Visit our registration page for more information.
